Last night, I had the opportunity to attend a blogger event at Nicole Miller Philadelphia at their Bellevue location. I had a great time mingling with fellow bloggers and browsing the current collection. I made sure to snap pictures of some of my favorites items in the store right now!
obsessed with these two necklaces!
um, yea…In need of this oversized envelope clutch...
I don’t know about you, but I could look at wedding photos for hours on end (actually, I do…). There is so much inspiration out there that it’s impossible to ever get tired of looking. I have a feeling I’m going to be in serious wedding inspiration withdrawal when my wedding is over. This has actually been a pretty quiet wedding planning week for me. I’m mainly working on an invitation design and deciding on a honeymoon destination. Hope you are all enjoying your Wednesday! Oh and don’t forget to enter the Pink Papaya contest for your chance to win one of my favorite products!
I was lucky enough to have recently received some products from home spa and beauty brand, Pink Papaya. I have to say, I have never had products that smelled so good! The Butter Lotion Candle doesn’t even have to be lit to fill the entire room of a sweet, floral scent. It’s divine! My favorite product has to be the Blackberry Fig Foot Scrub. My feet have a tendency to need some TLC and this was the perfect solution that left my feet smooth and satisfied (tip: use a pumice stone for best results). With products ranging from Skincare (think cleansers, moisturizers and facial masks) to Aromatherapy (hand wash, lotion candles and more!), Pink Papaya has everything you need to turn your home into a day spa.
The good news for all of you?? Pink Papaya is giving away a Blackberry Fig Foot Scrub ($23 value) to ONE lucky reader!!

For this Wedding Wednesday I thought I’d share some of my own engagement photos that my fiance and I took with our incredible photographer- Brett Matthews Photography! We took them in Central Park on a gorgeous day in October (we got really lucky!)… I’m sure everyone is getting ready for their Thanksgiving feasts and I want to wish you all safe travels to your destinations. Happy Thanksgiving 🙂

We took a long walk to brunch at Pub and Kitchen (if you go, try the coffee! These guys brew their own coffee and its awesome!) over the weekend and I just wanted to be in something casual and comfy. These boots were pretty much my staple last year and it looks like I’m bringing them back again 🙂 I adore this cape that I got at Zara in Florence, Italy when I was studying abroad there. It’s like a big blanket that you can just throw on and walk out of the house.
I made these a couple weeks ago when I was entertaining for the weekend. It’s usually my easy, go-to dessert recipe because it’s so quick and delicious. Plus, it doesn’t really involve a whole lot of ingredients.
1 bag mini chocolate morsels (12 oz.)
1 sleeve saltines
2 sticks butter
1 cup brown sugar
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
2. Place foil on a cookie sheet and place saltines out to cover the pan (one sleeve should cover it).
3. In a saucepan, melt butter and add brown sugar. Bring to a boil- boil for 3 minutes stirring. Pour over crackers (you might have to spread with a spoon to cover all the crackers).
4. Put in the oven for 5 minutes. Remove pan and pour the bag of mini morsels over- they will melt as you are doing this. Spread evenly with a spoon or spatula. If you want, you can even sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
5. Refrigerate for 2 hours then break into pieces and enjoy!
love the silhouette of this dress…
If all goes well, this week could possibly be the most successful wedding planning week thus far. A lot of things are getting crossed off my to-do list which makes me very, very happy! Among the items getting crossed off the list? Hair and makeup trials, day-of transportation, invitations, and ceremony music.

This past weekend we were in Baltimore for our friends wedding, which was absolutely beautiful. I was in the mood to try a maxi skirt for the rehearsal dinner and now I’m addicted! Such a versatile piece to have in your closet! Here’s one from American Apparel that’s great.
